During a recent international trade mission, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball launched the MIC Global program as a proactive step to support international business growth. MIC Global provides virtual services such as mentorship, business resources and connections to potential clients and partners. This approach helps international businesses navigate the complexities of entering the U.S. market before establishing a physical presence in the region. MIC Global also serves as a precursor to the Maryland Global Gateway program, which requires participating companies to be physically based at the Maryland Innovation Center.
